An evening with author Ryan Dacko describing the 4-year journey in research, writing, and publication of his novel, The Book of Quint, a prequel to Jaws with permission to publish by the Peter Benchley estate. All topics are on the table with the history of the USS Indianapolis tragedy and the film Jaws becoming the inspiration behind the book. As a 21st century writer, how to rally fans around the world with a podcast and social media and gain support early on. Navigating the pitfalls of modern day publishing, working with agents, and developing a novel for the silver screen. So much to discuss with an audience Q&A to follow.
